CALL FOR CLEL STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS!

Call for CLEL Steering Committee members

We are looking for enthusiastic CLEL members who are interested in becoming Steering Committee members. Steering Committee members have had a chance to spread their wings, add to professional networks, and take on new challenges in their library careers, while making a positive difference in early literacy efforts across Colorado. CLEL has many more ideas for the future-and you could be one of the people to put those plans in action!

ECRR and Developmental Milestones Series Part Three: 13-18 Months

Welcome to week three of the developmental milestones series!  We’ve examined milestones between the ages of 0 and 6 months, 7 and 12 months, and this week we’re looking at what happens between 13 and 18 months and how the Every Child Ready to Read (ECRR) skills and practices can help to encourage and improve this process.

ECRR and Developmental Milestones Series Part Two: 7-12 Months

Last week, I began a series on developmental milestones in children at various stages between birth and age three.  I started with 0-6 months, and continue this week with 7-12 months.
