Children's Book publisher Klaus Flugge, of Andersen Press, has collected almost 100 decorated letters from children's illustrators. The Guardian has compiled some of them here, with Flugge's own commentary. Included are David McKee, Tony Ross, Emma Chichester-Clark, and Satoshi Kitamura, among others.

A Colorado librarian named Melissa (a blogger here, too) had a great idea a few weeks ago: Why not start posting flannelboard ideas on her blog every friday and call it "Flannel Friday?"
