Storytime & Peer Coaching
Since orchestrating super smooth, literacy- based and entertaining storytimes- complete with great book choices, songs, flannels, fingerplays and just right literacy tips for parents can, in fact, be a challenge for all of us each week, some library districts have added peer coaching with success. Storytime providers observe and support eachother in an organized, but non-evaluative way, and they say it's a really fun and powerful way to learn.
