A few Steering Committee Members will be leaving at the end of the year and we want more members on the committee. We need you! If you are interested in being a new member on the CLEL Steering Committee, please submit a paragraph telling why you are interested to Vicky Hays by October 10, 2011. Please let her know whether you will be able to attend the Annual Meeting. You will be able to read your paragraph at the meeting. If you are not able to attend, your paragraph will be read. We will hold an on-line election after the Annual Meeting so everyone will be able to vote. The expectations of being on the committee are being able to attend and participate in most of the Steering Committee meetings held about 4 times a year and being willing to work on one of the committees - advocacy, training, communications and membership. Much of our work happens via e-mail, but we do meet face-to-face a few times a year.
