My family does this as well, every Christmas Eve, even though we are all now adults. We have listened to _A Christmas Carol_ as read by Patrick Stewart, read _The Farolitos of Christmas_ by Rudolfo Anaya, and shared the famous "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" newspaper column, among others. As the Children's Librarian in the family, I always try to find a new great picture book to share. My family loved _How Murray Saved Christmas_ by Mike Reiss, but this year I'll probably choose something less comical - maybe _Great Joy_ by Kate DiCamillo.

It's a wonderful tradition!
