Parent/Caregiver workshops allow the library to share early literacy information with a child's first and most important teachers: parents. It also prepares those who care for young children to share books in a way that encourages early literacy skills learning. However, not all of the parents/caregivers in our communities are able to attend library programs, so it's important that we make trainings available beyond the library's walls.
