Mark your calendars! The annual meeting of all CLEL membership will be on Thursday, October 7 - the day before the CAL Conference. As CAL is in Loveland this year, we will have our meeting nearby, in the Community Room at the Council Tree Library in Fort Collins. A big thank you goes to Vicky Hays at Poudre River Public Library District for hosting us! The meeting will be from 9 am until 4 pm (with an hour break for lunch on your own). If you cannot attend all day, join us for a half day, an hour, whatever you can!
The agenda is still being created, but plans so far are for some kind of training, an update on CLEL activities (such as our LSTA Grant project - Storyblocks), a chance to share best practices and network with your fellow early literacy enthusiasts, and possibly (probably) some door prizes! More information will be shared as we get closer to the date, as well as an opportunity to RSVP.
