Association of Library Service to Children (ALSC)- A division of the American Library Association (ALA), ALSC is the world’s largest organization dedicated to the support and enhancement of library service to children.  From creative programming and best practices to continuing education and professional connections—ALSC members are innovators in the field of children’s library service. ALSC membership is required to view archived webinars, but other resources and blogs are free for all.

Early Childhood Webinars– Early Childhood Investigations offers free webinars to early childhood educators.

edWeb– A free online community for professional educators, offering networking, resource sharing, collaboration, and professional development webinars.

Library Juice Academy: Offering asynchronous continuing education courses and certificate programs. Courses are high quality but an enrollment fee is required for all courses.

Libraries Learn– The Colorado State Library training database includes a calendar of upcoming events and archives of CSL In-Session and GRT QuickBites: 20-minute micro-learning opportunities on early literacy topics. All live and archived webinars are free and not limited to Colorado residents.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)- A non-profit organization committed to promoting excellence in early childhood education. They publish numerous professional papers as well as offering webinars and an annual conference.

WebJunction: A program of OCLC Research, WebJunction builds the knowledge, skills and confidence of library staff to power strong libraries that are the heart of vibrant communities. They offer free webinars and self-paced courses on a wide range of library topics.

Zero to Three– A non-profit organization providing resources and advocacy initiatives to ensure that babies and toddlers benefit from the early connections that are critical to their well-being and development. They offer ongoing professional development to support their initiatives as well as an annual conference.
