As we quickly approach the annual CLEL conference on Friday, more and more Early Literacy opportunities are coming across the radar in Denver. One of these newer conferences is being hosted bythe LENA, or Language ENvironment Analysis organization, which is a company that has created technology that is used by researchers to measure child language development in a variety of circumstances.
The 2015 LENA Conference is called: Parents Have the Power: Solving the “early catastrophe” through science and prenatal involvement. The conference will be held at the Ritz-Carlton in Denver on November 1-3, 2015, and the keynote speaker is Dr. Dana Suskind, who is the founder and director of the Thirty Million Words Initiative. The conference costs $399 to attend, but if you register before September 30, the price is halved.
It is truly a great time to be in the business of Early Literacy!
