The CLEL Conference took place on Friday, September 18 in Lakewood, Colorado. There were 180 registrants for this year's conference - the most ever! Over the course of the day, three break-out sessions featured over 18 presenters, we had a keynote speech presented by Dr. Gloria Miller, a professor at the University of Denver, and we rounded out the day with a panel of Storytime providers who shared their unique approaches to Storytime. Overall, the participants left feeling inspired by and connected with their colleagues in the Early Literacy realm. We on the Steering Committee wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended this year's conference.
If you have pictures that you would like to share with us, please feel free to add them to our Facebook page, Twitter (#clel2015), or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org for inclusion in the blog.
Remember that the Steering Committee will be looking for new members soon, so keep an eye out for that email, and if you're interested in participating in any of the sub-committees, we'd love to have you!
There is more to come, soon, but here are a few images from this year's conference to boost the nostalgia...
