Looking for a literacy activity to do with your kids on the go this summer! Why not try this out.
Grab a paper plate, marker, and scissors. Write the letters, words, or shapes around the outside of the plate then use the scissors to cut in between each.
As you are out running errands, playing at the park, or on vacation have the kids look for the letters, words and shapes and fold down the corresponding section.
Quick, easy, and fun. For more moving and grooving literacy ideas this summer, check out this post at No Time for Flashcards.
Now get out there and have fun!
