CLEL is governed by a Steering Committee that serves to make decisions and advise on projects. In addition to a Steering Committee chair and co-chair, there are six sub-committees: Advocacy & Fundraising, Annual Conference, Communications, Training, and Membership. Steering committee members are elected by CLEL membership and serve for two years.
