Jumping Jelly Fish!

Looking for a fun, low cost craft that will work for all ages? Look no further than this fun muffin cup jelly fish craft! What you need: *Muffin Cup for each child *Fishing Line *Party streamers or ribbon *Glue stick What you'll do: *Give kids each a muffin cup and an assortment of streamers or ribbons. Streamers are an inexpensive option and look great when cut in thirds. *Have kids glue the streamers and ribbon to the inside of the cup *Put a small hole in the top and thread the fishing line through it so that the jelly fish looks like it's floating! New Materials from CLEL Coming to Your Library!

CLEL—Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy— supports staff involved in early literacy across Colorado through a variety of projects, and we’re adding a new way this summer! This week, CLEL will send packages for each public and military library location in Colorado filled with magnets promoting Storyblocks , along with one colorful poster and 50 bookmarks promoting the 2016 CLEL Bell Picture Book Award winners! The posters are a great way to share the 2016 CLEL Bell winners with parents and caregivers in your library, and the bookmarks and magnets are handy reminders for parents of these excellent early literacy resources. Who's ready for some awesome news? CLEL is excited to announce the arrival of 6 new videos to our ever growing StoryBlocks collection! These new offerings are in 4 different languages- including Vietnamese and Amharic. They are loads of fun and such a great resource for our patrons and staff!
