Come to a Member Meetup – held every other month!

Our next Member Meetup will be held on Tuesday, July 8th from 1-2 PM MST.

The topic at our next Meetup will be: Summer Reading Progress and Looking Ahead!

Member meetups provide a great opportunity to hear from others in our field and to hear what others are doing to further their skillsets.  They also are a great way to get to know others in our field and see what they are doing.

The Zoom link to join a Member Meetup session can be found here:

Conference plans for the Fall

Mark your calendars for our Annual CLEL Conference.  This year’s CLEL Conference will be held in the afternoons on October 16th and 17th, 2025. We will be virtual again this year.

We have confirmation on one of our keynote speakers will be Colorado State Representative Lorena Garcia, who has been an outspoken voice against book banning and is very committed to DEI initiatives affecting children.

Our other keynote speaker will be Uncle Devin.  You can learn more about Uncle Devin here: theuncledevinshow.com

The Uncle Devin Show® is an interactive, musical experience for children by renowned drummer and percussionist, Devin Walker. The show cultivates the minds of children through percussion instruments and is a dynamic cross between DC’s Trouble Funk and Schoolhouse Rock!
